Antique Carved Oak Mirror

Antique carved and sculpted oak framed mirror. Made in the 1800s in pastoral vernacular style. Possibly Irish. 

Features scroll work adorning a composition of floral and figurative carving including winged herald angels atop, cherubs gathering the harvest to each side and a bull on the lower frieze.  Auspicious symbols for ushering in the harvest.

Later mirror glass.

Condition; Two tiny losses, and wear from use and age as expected but does not detract from the good appearance, charm and integrity of this unique item.
