Very well made french mirror with original but evenly worn gold leaf gilding to create a great look.
The it is structurally sound and solid, having been constructed with "keyed" corners.
Made with a wood base and composition mouldings, the surface is coloured and patinated to (very successfully) make it look as though it is a carved wood frame from the 1600s.
Substantial and beautifully presented etched overmantel mirror with 2.5 inch bevelled edge.
Unusual ripple design. Remnants of gilding on a mixture of a hint of red, and white textured surface. Beautiful and chic. In excellent condition. Original "mercury" glass.
French 19th century carved and painted wood clock overmantel mirror. Came from a bar in Lyons. The clock is pre 1900 and still works perfectly. Regulator lever to adjust for minutes lost or gained.
