Alfred H Vickers exhibited at the the RA in 1853 the British Institution and the Royal Society of British Artists.
He Produced a highly accomplished and fluent works with comparatively little brushwork or fussy detail. His compositional balance between sky, water and buildings was always excellent.
He painted landscape and coastal views in England and on the Rhine.
